The GAN Halo Smart Timer brings touch-pad timing and connected practice to your cubing setup. Time regular cubes on the timer itself, then pair it with CubeStation over Bluetooth to upload saved results and review your sessions.

Smart practice features

  • Offline result storage: Store more than 10,000 timing results before uploading them to CubeStation.
  • Automatic average of five: Review recent solves and their AO5 directly on the timer.
  • Halo lighting: Choose from 90 light-effect combinations and customise lighting through the app.
  • Timing resolution: The display records times in 0.001-second increments.
  • Accidental-reset protection: A short button lock after stopping helps keep your result on screen.
  • Clock function: View the date and time, with manual or app-based calibration.
  • Rechargeable power: A built-in 3.7 V rechargeable lithium battery charges through the included USB cable. Manufacturer-rated use is about 42 hours, with charging around 1.5-2 hours; actual results vary with settings and use.
  • External display connection: A 2.5 mm data output supports a compatible external display, sold separately.

How to use

Turn on the timer with the logo button. Place both hands on the touch pads and wait for the ready signal. Lift your hands to begin, then touch both pads together to stop. A compatible mobile device and CubeStation are required for connected features; standalone timing does not need an app.
