The purple GAN Halo Standard Timer is a rechargeable speedcubing timer for practising solves without a phone. Two touch pads start and stop timing, while the digital display shows results to 0.001-second resolution. It retains the latest five results and calculates their AO5 automatically. AO5 means average of five, giving you a result for a short practice set.

  • Anti-false-trigger button lock during timing and for one second after a solve ends
  • Rechargeable battery: approximately 32 hours of use, depending on settings; approximately 1.5-2 hours to recharge
  • 2.5 mm output for a compatible external display and mounting holes for compatible GAN mats

How to use

  1. Press the Logo button to turn the timer on.
  2. Place both hands on the touch pads and wait for the READY light state.
  3. Lift both hands to begin timing, then pick up the cube.
  4. When finished, touch both pads simultaneously to stop timing.
  5. Press Logo once to reset for the next solve.
  6. Double-press Logo to view results; repeat to cycle through the latest five times and AO5.

Hold Logo until OFF appears to switch off. The timer also switches off after five minutes without operation.

Light controls and charging

Hold the left pad and press Logo to change the flashing mode. Hold the right pad and press Logo to change the colour mode. Charge using DC 5 V USB power.
